Delaney Smith
“I became a journalist to come as close as possible to the heart of the world ”
is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Media Studies after graduating in just three years with a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Journalism and an Associate of Arts in Public Relations from Lynn University. During her undergraduate studies, she earned Communication Honors, was inducted into the President’s Honor Society, and received the Dean’s Award for Undergraduate Excellence. She is also an active participant on the NCAA Division II Women’s Lacrosse team at Lynn. Delaney is driven by a mission to inform the public, spark important conversations, and give a voice to the voiceless. With a deep passion for impactful journalism, she is committed to using her platform to elevate underrepresented voices and address critical societal issues through thoughtful storytelling and reporting. Delaney describes her craft as having a “front row seat to life.”
